How long before I will hear back from your company?

We will endeavor to answer all queries within 24 hours, occasionally with Sundays and holidays it may be a little longer.

How may I contact you?

E-mail is best but we have a Canada wide toll free telephone line if you would like to speak to someone. This phone is not always monitored but if you leave a message we will get back to you right away. We also have a mailing address in Victoria BC.

Once I place my order how long will it be before I receive my fabric?

With some companies it will just be a matter of days. Generally the longest wait will be two weeks. If there are any problems with availability we will contact you immediately.

Are the fabrics sold by the yard or the metre?

We still sell fabrics by the yard. If you would like to convert a metre is 10% more than a yard. For example 10 yards of fabric equals 9.1 metres. 

Will the freight charges be extra?

We will provide you with a quote that includes the freight charges to have the fabric delivered right to you. The quote will also include all applicable sales taxes.

What is your return policy?

All fabrics are inspected prior to shipment. We will immediately replace any fabric that has a quality issue. The fabric must be in original and uncut condition.
If for some reason you receive the wrong fabric in error we will immediately correct this.
There are no returns if you have received the correct goods and the quality is fine.

Your website links me to many fabric distributors. Why can I not buy directly from them?

The companies that we deal with are wholesalers only and do not sell to the general public. 

Is my order secure with your company?

Upholstery fabrics online is a subsidiary of a long standing Victoria company. We are members of the local better business bureau with an A plus rating and are also members of the local chamber of commerce. You can order from us with confidence that you will be dealt with in a professional and ethical manner.

I am ready to place my order with you, how do I proceed?

You can call us at our Canada wide toll free and we can process a Visa or Mastercard over the phone. You can also e-mail us and provide your information and we will contact you. Cheques can be mailed to our Victoria address. Once payment is received we will order your fabric immediately and have it shipped to you.
